 Puppy Head Start consists of 2 private lessons in your home.  Getting your puppy started out on the right paw.  This is for puppies 5 months and younger.  Puppy Head Start covers:

*potty training

*house manners

     (jumping, nipping, barking, 

    chewing, etc)



*other issues specific to your

    family and puppy.

D.I.Y. Puppy Training Guide

​​Gentle Paws' puppy training book.  This is a comprehensive, easy to understand e-book that teaches you how to effectively understand, develop and change your puppy's behavior.  With this book you receive follow up support - after purchase, any questions you may have regarding the content or practical application of the training program will be answered by phone or email.

Puppy matching includes:
-Interviewing your family and determining what you want in a dog - big, small, short hair, long hair, high energy or low energy, hypo-allergenic
-Discussing different breed possibilities 
-Searching for appropriate rescue dog or visiting breeder's facility (limited geographical area)
-Advice on finding a good breeder or rescue group
-Assessing possible puppies for temperament.

-Preparing your family and household for the new addition

Puppy training lessons will vary in length depending on your family and your puppy's needs and learning style but are typically 60 - 90 minutes in length.

Puppy Head Start is paid in advance, non refundable and must be completed within 45 days.

Children, grandparents, extended family, nannies and anyone who spends time with your puppy are welcome to attend training lessons.
